2016 Zinfandel

On the palate, this wine has dark cherry fruit with integrated spices of black and white pepper, followed by a medium-long finish of earthy minerals with a hint of cola in the finish. With its balance and structure from the fine tannins, this Zinfandel pairs well with food that is spicy -- like a summer barbecue!

2016 Grenache

The wine’s ruby purple color is accompanied by gorgeous aromas of roasted herbs, cassis, blackberries, and an assortment of red as well as black fruits. The wine shows a viscous texture and beautifully integrated tannins and will improve with age and can be enjoyed through 2025.

None of the ratings have officially been released, but we CAN tell you that one of these wines was awarded the highest rating of any Sol Rouge wine to date by one of the Big 3 (Wine Spectator, Wine Enthusiast, and Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate) – in fact, it is the highest rated wine ever produced in Lake County. So don’t miss out on these wines!
