92 Points and Silver Medal awarded to our 2015 Zinfandel

We are pleased to announce that our Sol Rouge 2015 Zinfandel received a 92 Point Rating & Silver Medal from the American Fine Wine Competition!

Notes From the Winemaker:

Our 2015 Zinfandel is produced from grapes at estate vineyard from vines planted with clippings from the “old vines” at the famed Beatty Ranch in Howell Mountain. The unique clone from this old vine vineyard allows our wine to exhibit many of the characteristics of other wines from old vine Howell Mountain Zinfandel vineyards. In the glass, this wine exhibiting aromas of black cherry cola notes, a common characteristic of other wines from the old vine Zinfandel vineyards of Howell Mountain. On the palate, the wine has dark cherry fruit with integrated spices of black and white pepper, followed by a medium-long finish of earthy minerals with a hint of cola in the finish.
